Priya Iyengar

Priya Iyengar is a distinguished Corporate Lawyer and Arbitrator with over 27 years of extensive cross-industry experience, blending legal acumen with practical business insight. Her career spans a wide spectrum of practice areas including Corporate Law, Insolvency & Bankruptcy, Labour & Employment, and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR).

Priya has successfully advised and represented clients in corporate governance, mergers & acquisitions, intellectual property, international business laws, property and insurance disputes, insolvency proceedings, workplace conflicts, and medical injury claims. She has closed numerous high-stakes matters across sectors such as Aerospace, Telecom, Corporate Governance, and Technology, consistently delivering pragmatic and business-friendly outcomes.

Her ADR expertise is a cornerstone of her practice. With a decade of experience in Mediation, Conciliation, and Arbitration in both India and the USA, Priya has efficiently resolved over a hundred disputes. Her ability to understand conflicts at the grassroots level, combined with her capacity to engage with both operational teams and the C-Suite with equal ease, has made her a trusted dispute resolution specialist.

Beyond her practice, Priya is a respected academic and mentor. She has been a visiting faculty at NALSAR, IIM-R, Symbiosis, and other leading B-Schools, teaching subjects like Corporate Governance, Labour & Employment Laws, International Business, International Arbitration, and Aviation Laws. She also contributes to legislative review and drafting committees and serves as a team member of CADL at NALSAR. Recently, she has been on-boarded as a Value Partner,  Chief Mentor at T-Hub’s Lab32 Cohort and as a Jury Member for its selection panel, supporting start-ups and entrepreneurs.

Priya is also deeply committed to social impact initiatives. As the Founder of the Niskrti Foundation, she spearheads rural development programs for women, children, and families while providing free legal aid to the underprivileged. She has actively supported government initiatives for start-ups, incubation centres, women entrepreneurs, and AI-MedTech sectors, extending legal guidance to foster innovation and inclusivity.

Her international education and exposure in India and the USA have given her a unique perspective on global commerce and trade laws, shaping her into a lawyer with a truly global outlook.
